Rune Layouts
Below are 3 of the more commonly used layouts for reading runes. There are many variations of these three layouts and hundreds of other layouts from current day casters and those from older time too. These 3 however will give a beginning rune caster a good base to start from. Once you have mastered these, if you feel like you need to go deeper, there are hundreds of others sources for rune layouts.
- One Rune Layout
- Three Rune Layout
- Five Card Layout
One Rune Layout
This is of course the simplest spread possible and of course can supply only the simplest of answers to the question being asked. Good to get a general idea of how a specific day/project/meeting (etc., etc.) will go yet usually not the best choice when in depth answers are needed.

Three Rune Layout
A 3 rune layout is probably the most popular of all layouts. There are two well know versions of the 3 rune layout and each can be found under multiple names so there is no one correct name for them.
Both examples should be self explanatory. The numbers are the sequence the stones are read in and the words under each card tells you what you are reading for.
