Magickal Uses - Use Gebo to find or strengthen a relationship, to increase fertility, to increase luck. Use it to combine two runes together to create a desired effect. Also good when dealing with contract or to ensure a fair exchange.
Analysis - In early history, the Germanic people believed if a gift was given, the receiver owed the giver. Gift giving was considered a contract that was binding until an exchange was made. The is why Gebo is more about the exchange, contracts and such than an actual gift.
