Rune Casting Methods
There are 3 main ways of "casting" Runes.
1) Drawing from your bag:
With this method of rune casting, you literally draw the Runes one at a time from your Rune bag. This is a good choice when doing a one and perhaps a two rune layout, but when using a larger number of runes in the reading it is usually best to use one of the other methods.
2) Swirl method:
Place all of your Runes face down on your reading cloth. Swirl them around until they are thoroughly mixed, then draw the number needed for your readings.
3) Casting method:
This method uses both the rune bag and cloth. Shake the bog with your runes in it to mix completely, and then cast them on your reading cloth. Some people then use all the runes that are face up. Others methods use only the face down runes to pull the number needed for the type of layout you are doing.
Obviously there is not one right or wrong way to cast your Runes. I suggest you try them all and determine which method works best for you personally. Like so many other things in life, different people will tell you different ways of doing things. Don't allow anyone to tell you it MUST be done their way or that the way you are using is wrong.
If it works for you, do it. Plain and simple.
