You can become an adept Rune Reader without delving deeply into the Aetts. Suffice it to say this is but a very general and basic introduction to the Aetts, simple basic information every rune reader should know. The second Aett belongs to Heimdall/Hagal/Hel . All the Runes in this Aett deal with the natural forces of our world and universe, those we have no control over such as time and our spiritual growth and personal evolution.

The third Aett belongs to Tyr/Tir. All the Runes in this Aett deal with experiences that change our lives, how we get along with others and our spiritual transformation.
For those that already have an understanding of magic, seeing each Aett makes it easier to understand how to choose the runes you will use for a specific magical target.
If your magical working are dealing with weather you will probably find something that will work for you in the second Aett. For workings dealing with a job or money, the first Aett is what you seek.
Keep in mind however that these are simply very basic ideas based solely on which Aett the rune stone falls in. You will need to look deeper into the individual runestones to determine exactly which rune you should concentrate on.
