Psychic Abilities, a gift from God

These days, thanks to the internet and television, it is a little hard to completely deny that psychic abilities exist. The majority of those that klung so desperately to the believe that they do not exist, have stopped denying they exist and instead have chosen to try to demonize the abilities by claiming they are from the devil.

If you take a moment and look at the situation from a Spiritual standpoint, (not a religious standpoint) it becomes much easier to see that psychic phenomena, including ESP and all the other psi abilities are real, 100% explainable and truly a gift from God.

Let's start by examining exactly how people experience psychic abilities. There is no one predetermined way for everyone to exerience them. Some people experience a wide range of psi abilities while others will only experience one particular type. Some experience them only when a dangerous event is about to happen in their lives while others experience them almost daily. The point is, there really is no right or wrong way to experience these abilities. Your connection to the knowledge is very personal between you and God and the two of you are the only ones that can decide how you personally will receive information.

As science has gone from studying the world and people as a whole and started looking deeper and deeper into the physical makeup of everything in our world, the so called New Age concept of a shared consciousness or superconsciousness is looking very much like a part of quantum physics. Please note that while there is not a 100% scientifically proven connection, there are simply too many similarities to simply forget about.

From a spiritual standpoint, everyone and everything on the earth and in our universe is connected. Through everything there is a common thread that connects us. Scientist mostly agree that this is true, but they can not yet measure or identify exactly what it is that connects us, so based on the scientific requirements of proof of existence, they can not yet prove it. Spiritual people on the other hand, see this connection as being either God or a gift of God.

So while the terminology being used is different, both side are talking about something so similar that it is hard to accept anything other than they are one and the same thing, being looked at from two different referrence points. It's sort of like what the police see on a regular basis. Multiple people will witness an incident, but everyone give a different account of what the person looked like. They are all talking about the same person but each one perceive the person slightly differently. This connection is the same way, everyone is talking about the same thing but everyone talks about it from the way they personally perceive it.

Psychic abilities work by taping in and "reading" this connection between things. How well you personally can tap into and process the information depends on two things. How well your connection is, and how well you can actually process the information you receive.

Think of it as the connection being much like a flow of electricity and we are the meters that can read how much flow of electricity actually exists in a line.

Various things such as the shielding on a line and where the line is located can hamper your ability to connect with the line. At the same time, if your meter is not of good quality, it makes it hard to know exactly how much flow there is, even if you manage to tap into the line.

Our psychic abilities are much the same way. Sometimes we are simply not fully connected with the flow and sometimes, even when there is a good connection, we simply are not a good meter for the flow.

So when you are working to build your psychic abilities, if is important to work on building your connection to the flow and your ability to know and understand the flow when you are connected to it.

In order to increase your psychic abilities, it is important that you work on improving your personal connection to the flow of energy in the shared consciousness or "universal knowledge". If you believe in God or at the very least, some sort of higher power, this is a fairly simple task because it is easy to believe and accept that this is one of the many gifts of God.

If on the other hand you do not believe in a higher power, you must look at this from a purely scientific stand point which is more complicated because science has not yet reached the point of being able to measure the energy that flows through us all and therefore, does not fully accept that it is actually there.

This makes it harder to believe and accept that this connection is real, can be felt and seen and has an affect on our everyday lives even when we are not consciously awake of it. Yet belief is by far the most important step in accepting your gifts. If you do not believe the connection is there, you can not tap into it.

If you turn that statement around, it is doubt that kills the connection. Every time you doubt the existence of this connection, it becomes harder and harder to tap into it. You may have heard it said that if you tell someone something enough times, they start to believe it is true. It is the same affect that happens when someone is emotionally abussive to another person, such as when a husband constantly tells his wife that she is stupid and worthless, she begins to believe it and finds it almost impossible to leave the situation because of it.

Accepting, being thankful for and expecting to be able to connect to the flow of energy is by far the best way to improve your connection to it. Get excited about your connection, anticpate the next insight you receive from it, be joyous when it happens and your connection will become stronger and strong.

If you hook a meter that is not functioning up to an electric line, it will show there is not flow of electricity because the meter is not capable of reading the flow. In much the same way, if your ability to read the flow is not working, you will not be able to read and understand the flow of energy you receive.

The problem with learning to read the flow in information is that you never know exactly how you will receive the information. Some people read sounds, others images and still others thoughts and ideas. It is not unusual for someone to receive more than one type of energy reading.

To make matters worse, today you may hear it as a voice and loud and clear as someone standing next to you, but tomorrow you may hear nothing more than the faintess of whispers.

One of the best ways to improve your ability to read the information is to start a journal and list everything you receive, even if it doesn't seem like it means anything. It does not require and elaborate set up. Simply listing the date and what you received is fine. Then at a later date, you can go back and look over things to see if any of it has come to pass.

As you have more and more experiences that do happen, you belief in and acceptance of the connection will grow stronger and stronger, increasing your personally psychic abilities even more.

Keep your heart and your mind open to all the abilities that God has given us. Expect them to happen and appreciate them when they come and you will find them coming more and more often.

According to accepted scientific principles, what we perceive as solid matter around us, is in fact, not solid but composed of energy. Everything in the entire universe is composed of energy. Energy never dies, it simply transforms into a different form of energy. To understand this better, think about what the entire world, with everything that is on it might weight. We all know that everything; humans, plants, animals, buildings, etc., etc., never stays the same. The cells within all living matter are constantly growing and dying. The cells within the material things we use on earth are in constant decay and will eventually break down completely, yet at the same time, the earth is constantly growing new materials that can be used to make the material things in our world. Yet through all of this, the total weight of the earth and everything on it does not change.

As everything breaks down to its smallest parts, it is simply transforming from one form of energy to another form of energy. It doesn't lose or gain anything in the process.
