Precognition: Exercise #2
This test is designed to determine your level of precognition. The definition of precognition as used on this site is: The knowing of events or information before they happen. Those showing a strong precognitive abilities are known as a precog.
In this test, your goal is to determine which of 4 cards will be turned over in each of the 4 places. You will mark your answers before the cards are laid in their respective spots.
Tools needed for this test are the 4 Aces from a regular deck of playing cards. If normal playing cards are not available, the 4 Aces from a deck of Tarot cards is perfectly acceptable. In fact, you may want to use the Tarot cards even if regular playing cards are available, if only for the symbolism attached to the cards, if nothing else.
You will also need a pen and paper for tracking results. Gather your supplies and have them ready before attempting this precognition test.
Pure chance would get one correct answer from each trial of 4 cards. Consistently scoring 2 or more in repeated trials would show a strong aptitude for precognitive ability.
It is important to note that scoring 2 or more on only a few trials does not automatically mean you have strong precognitive abilities. If after 100 or more trials, you still show a strong average of 2 or more correct on each trial, your results hold more weight in the debate of where your precog abilities stand.
Precognition Test Instructions
It is usually best to work in trials composed of 25 sets. Set aside enough time to do 25 sets and mark your paper with 25 sets of score keeper numbers prior to starting.
Your goal is to determine through the use of your precog abilities to determine which ace will be laid out on each space (numbers 1 - 4) prior to the cards being shuffled and laid out.
For instance, if you believe the Ace of Swords will be in the first position, mark your score card for the Ace of Swords in position number 1. If your choice for position number two is the Ace of Pentacles (coins), then mark position number 2 accordingly.
Mark the remainder of positions in the first set with your choice of the remaining cards.
When all 4 positions have been marked, shuffle the cards and lay them out in a line in front of you. Position 1 is the first card on the left, position 2 is the second card and so forth.
Turn each card over, one at a time from left to right and mark your score card with the card that physically turned up in that position. Check the number of matches and mark that set with the total before moving on to the next set.
At the end of your trial of 25 sets, total the number you got correct out of all 25 sets combines. Your score will be a number such as 38/100. The 100 comes from the total of 25 sets of 4 cards each.
Don't push yourself into doing too many set at one time. The most accurate judgment of your precognitive abilities will come after many trials of 25 sets each.
This test can also be used as practice to improve your precog abilities. Simply do the test every chance you get and you should see the number correct out of each trial of 25 sets start to grow.
